Soap ingredients
Soap ingredients
We make our soaps by hand in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Here is a straightforward look at a few of the ingredients you will see in our bars.

Olive oil
Olive oil gives a bar a mild, creamy feel. We use it as a steady base in several soaps.

Coconut oil
Coconut oil helps make a bar that rinses clean and gives a good, bubbly lather.

Shea butter
Shea butter adds a little extra richness to the bar without making the formula complicated.

Lavender essential oil
Lavender essential oil brings a soft, familiar scent to a few of our bars. It is always used thoughtfully.

Oatmeal
Oatmeal adds a simple, natural texture and a gentle scrubby feel to selected soaps.

Goat milk
Goat milk makes a smooth, creamy bar. It is one of the ingredients we like for a comfortable everyday wash.
Every formula is a little different, so check the label on the bar you choose. If you have a question about an ingredient, send us a note and we will do our best to help.
